Short answer
There are 46 marked walks in Finnmark Friluftsråd’s Perletur network in the municipality, from short strolls to demanding mountain tops. The easiest is Kjærlighetsstien, 2.5 km on the flat along the fjord from Bietilægården. See Walks in Vadsø.

A few to start with: Luftskipsmasta – Gapahuken Øya (1.5 km, easy), Jakobselv tursti (3.9 km, easy), Finngubben og Finnkjærringa from Vadsø ski stadium (4.15 km, moderate), Ekkerøya rundt (6 km, moderate) and Vasavannet (16.9 km, demanding).
