What are Sommerbyen and Julebyen?

Short answer
Both are organised by Vadsø Business Association. Sommerbyen Vadsø (the summer town) is summer activities and experiences for everyone in the town centre. Julebyen Vadsø (the Christmas town) is the lighting of the Christmas street, festive atmosphere in the square with a concert and a visit from Father Christmas — and longer shop opening hours in the run-up to Christmas.
