What is the municipal business fund, and who can apply?

Short answer
Vadsø Municipality’s business fund gives grants for new businesses and growth — studies, idea development, skills and cooperation, not physical investments. Businesses and entrepreneurs with an address in Vadsø can apply, and applications are accepted at any time. See Funding.

Under the 2020 statutes the fund can cover up to 80% of the costs, at most NOK 100,000, and the project should normally not have started before you apply. You apply via regionalforvaltning.no. Last checked 25 September 2026.
